Tamir is a Managing Partner, Investments and Co-Chief Investment Officer as well as a member of the Investment and Management Committees. In his role, he provides leadership across the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio construction, risk management, and capital formation activities as well as the Investment Committee.  He has 29 years of professional experience.

Prior to joining Torchlight in 2024, Tamir held various leaderships roles at commercial real estate investment organizations including Meridian Capital Group, Clal Insurance, Africa Israel USA (AFI), KPMG (Israel), as well as several other public and private companies.

Tamir is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel and holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BA from The College of Management Academic Studies (Israel).
